A little bit about Emily...

I've spent over 20 years in governance, risk and controls roles at global financial institutions, I know what it takes to lead effectively in high-stakes GRC environments. I also know the frustration of being technically brilliant but struggling to influence beyond your immediate team, or feeling trapped in reactive firefighting when you know you're capable of strategic leadership.

Now, as an ICF-certified executive coach, I help accomplished GRC leaders make the shift from technical expert to influential leader; someone who shapes culture, builds high-performing teams, and leads sustainably in high-pressure regulatory environments.

The author of Behind the Screens: Understanding Employee Surveillance in Financial Services, I've been featured in The Financial Times, The Banker, and GRIP for my insights on leadership in uncertain times, non-financial misconduct, and senior management accountability.

I qualified as an executive coach in 2013 in the UK and re-certified in 2023 in Australia, specialising in mid-to-late career leaders ready to expand their influence. My coaching combines traditional techniques with a results-oriented approach grounded in real-world GCR leadership experience.
